How our Table Topics Master leads the impromptu speaking session
This is a guide on what you can expect from the Table Topics session.

We can learn to think on our feet and talk on the spot.
If you are visiting Toastmasters for the first time or learning the Table Topics Master role as a new member, this quick guide will explain what to expect.
Here’s what happens.
The Table Topics Master will announce a question or topic, and then invite a member or guest to respond for one minute. Two evaluators will take note of odd and even numbered responses. At the end, the Table Topics master will introduce one evaluator and then the next. The odd-numbered Table Topics evaluator will speak about subjective strengths and suggestions for the speakers who responded to topics. Then, the even-numbered evaluator will present. The Table Topics Master will then hand control of the meeting back to the chairman of the day.

You are welcome to either participate or skip a turn. However, this you can learn more by getting involved with the supportive activity. We’re here to help each other.
