Get started with the Newcastle Toastmasters Club.
You can find your voice with us by starting as a visitor, member, or short course participant.
Two Options: Membership or Short Course (Or Both)
All of our offerings are available to anyone who wishes to grow their communication and leadership skills in alignment with the club mission.
We welcome aspiring speakers who may be experienced, getting started, shy or confident. Our club is diverse and innovative.
See these options below.
Visit and then join as a member
We encourage you to visit 1-3 three meetings before joining as a member of the club. You can participate and continue membership for months or years.
Semi-annual membership is affordable when seeing the average cost-per-week.
Complete the short course to get more techniques sooner
The Speechcraft short course allows you to practice the essential public speaking skills in up to two months, providing a shorter commitment than membership.

Step 1: visit a meeting for free
You can view a meeting to experience what we do.
You may be invited to speak when the Club President welcomes the visitors and when the Table Topics master invites attendees to do some one-minute impromptu speaking about various topics. These speaking opportunities are completely optional.
See more information about meetings and register to attend.
Step 2: join as a member
When you join our club, you also become a member of Toastmasters International. You gain access to the Pathways educational program and a network of clubs worldwide.
You also gain more opportunities to practice public speaking and leadership roles in the Newcastle Toastmasters Club and beyond.
See the membership form below.
Step 2: practice speeches and leadership skills
We all join for diverse purposes. You may be looking to gain confidence for your career, a wedding speech, student presentations, or generally facing your fears. As a club member, you can participate in the roles that help you to reach your goals.
Ask the committee how you can practice your desired skills in the club.
